Finally after a week I come online to blog … I didn’t write due to a variety of reasons:



1) pretty occupied with my internship and I don’t feel like sitting on the pc coming back (I sit in front of it the whole day!! can’t take more at night)

2) Couldn’t think about anything to write.



Well I’m back with things to write about (more like something!).. I highly doubt you all care about what i just said

Yesterday i was watching MTV…. I usually watch it to catch up with the latest music and download anything good I hear/watch



Although the music is good the videos seem like some kind of soft porn (seriously, I’m not joking about this)… Its really disturbing to watch, especially when I’m in front of your parents and other people. They don’t say anything but I feel this kind of guilt that makes me wanna change the channel to something like the news. I hope most people get what I mean.



So, what does this mean? That many of the music videos that come out are full of glamour and nothing else? Well not quite, but the chart toppers are always like that and music channels like MTV only play these music videos. And the lyrics are like that too!! Can’t people think of any song that has nothing other than sex and wanting to grind and check the bartender to make a hit song? Its not like all songs have to be of this concept to become a hit…. There are songs that are not so dirty that make it to the hits too right?? I think artists just want to take it the easy way around…. People shouldn’t accept this… they should demand good music with QUALITY LYRICS….



Well anyways enough of MTV. I’m going to go back to some 80’s tamil music…. much better than sex and grinding and glamour…



All this being said, you know sometimes even i can’t help it. Songs like smack that and I Wanna F**k you by Akon are some of my favorites…. but I know I’m trying ….
