MY MOBILE :)
Posted by passionateme as reviews

I got a new Sony Ericsson W660i recently and i am here to share my views about my own phone(sorry if it sounded too self-centered). First of all I should I say about the colors of the phone- record black and rosy red but i unfortunately couldn’t get the black one, so had to stick with the Rosy red.
The phone is from the walkman series and is supposed to be an update phone. The best part of it is the walkman itself. Good dedicated system with lot of options like equalizer, visualizations and other attractive add-ons. You can easily use the walkman and do some other parallel job without much of an ado. Next is the sound quality and the volume which is quite amazing and i am told that such a volume is unique among its peers in the walkman series and man! with the head phones on you get a real cool experience with it. The camera with the phone is of 2MP resolution and its quite ordinary even after taking into consideration that its W series and not K. The video recording and still photography are ok but still, a flash option is necessary for the price it absorbed, also the still photography includes only the post-shoot zoom which is of not much use. The games included are quite good and interesting but there are better things to explore. Coming to video calling its a real cool feature with a VGA cam in the front but it is of no use in India as of now. Browsing and MMS are quite good and at last a relief on storing almost 200 messages without the need of deleting it often as i did in previous Nokia 1600. The alarms, notes and other features are as good as it shows itself in the contemporary mobiles and Track id and play now options are too very flashy for an user like me, nevertheless they may find their use someday. One possible complaint is that the price seems to be too much but otherwise i love it and it will be with me for years to come.
Sorry for my poor reviewing skills. If this is not satisfactory then i will comwe up with a better review very soon. CYA :D

Being Positive….
Posted by passionateme as thoughts
Optimism is one of the most powerful attitudinal assets. A person
who embraces this is always welcome everywhere and indeed
succeeds more often than not. He carries incredible amount of positive energy that illuminates his course towards success. He graces through this path breathing optimism which paints the air around him with the same grandeur ,that people around him get inspired and transpired. His vision is clear and the exuberance reverberating around him fills the atmosphere with a symphony of harmony which makes him enjoy every element that he indulges in. But hark! The dark forces are lurking around him waiting to pull him into the darkness and it can be said (course with a flavor of relentless judgment) that anytime they can overpower him and pull him into a dismal and pathetic plight. Believe me, everyone likes to be positive but here is where the real test for the imposters. Yes! There is a quite a significant difference between who ‘wear’ optimism and who ‘engulf’ it.
The people who wear optimism get bogged down deep under the abysses of normal existence and in fact they get consumed by pessimism. It’s indeed prudent to be act normal rather than try too much to be positive. But engulfing optimism is the fantabulous ideal that one can ever exhibit. People who adapt this show incredible amount of recovery under dire circumstances. Perhaps they have learnt it from the bats. Yup. When they are pulled into the darkness they still emit positive signals everywhere and manage to find their way to light from the responses. They somehow find the vent of the dormancy wrapped around them and explode with such energy that even the beholders get inspired and thus with such astounding influence the entire group reaps phenomenal amount of rewards.
So it’s important to engulf optimism and when everyone becomes more positive, don’t we increase our potential?!(Note the pun :D ). Thank you for a patient reading. Wish you all a happy and prosperous new year!!! (Hope am not too late :) )

Penning your fate….
Posted by passionateme as thoughts

Fate is often associated with a sense of negativity and often the victim of the plethora of abuses born out of people’s misfortunes. When it comes to failure or the occurrence of a flunk at any game staged in the arena of life fate takes the blame always. Course, it’s a different issue regarding the belief in it but in general people fail to catch the glimpse of fate glimmering at the bottom, when they are at the top or when they are hovering high in the pursuit of happiness and success in life.
Personally, I do believe in faith but with a different idea about it. I don’t know if there exists a “Hand of God” playing the tune of life and making us dance to it but I do believe that our fate, the script of our life is being penned down by our own hands! Yeah! Our deeds turn out to be the words of the script and what we today determine our fate tomorrow and what we do today is the upshot of what we did yesterday and this moves both sides. So we never know, a bad deed might have been left unnoticed but it has indeed sown the seed of guilt in our hearts and it grows with us forever forming the part of our script. Not that it can’t be weeded off, yes, it can be cleared off from pestering us but that does take a heavy dosage of the drug of conscience. Good or bad, believe it or not, we write our own tales.
Now that we know that we carry the whip of our life-horses it’s prudent to be proactive to live this moment to our best and judiciously so that we lay the foundation for the happy coming-moments. Most importantly one must enjoy the moment so that it gives the enthusiasm to carry forward when they are drained out of the so-called “luck”. I just thought I could share this with you people and expose a new perspective which I conceived myself.
Thank you for a patient reading! Do visit often :) Rgds….

Handling Success….
Posted by passionateme as thoughts
Well it has been while since I touched the keys of wily keyboard to type down something and now I really think its time to get started. Coming to the point, a lot has been said about overcoming failures or beating the odds or rising from the ashes or whatever but how many of us think about handling success!!?? Handling success is as important as anything that is vital in one’s progress towards the acme of life and trust me when I say this as I mean it completely. We work hard, working towards an aim in life and we never know when the riches of the success would appear above the horizon of uncertainty. If at all we fail in between or get a change of our course due to various illusions or distractions, we sit back from the set back and pull the trigger to bullet forward towards success in a more focused way as we have the taste of victory still in the tip of our soul’s tongue. But interesting things happen if our hard work pays off in the first place. We succeed and more often than not we loose the taste of victory very soon as it skies down the hill of the sense of achievement and we get into a kind of trance of being on the top of the world, but hang on, is this the end of the story, hmmm not quite so. Yup, the “top of the world” can make you more vulnerable to deep falls later. It’s important that we still have head on shoulders and feet on ground. There are two ways of looking at success, one is to cherish the rewards of the victory and the other is to cherish too much to get carried away and become over confident. And believe me; if ever you become negatively influenced by the guerdons of the victory then you are heading nowhere else but towards the doom of your own downfall (similar to free fall, the greater the height, bigger is the impact of falling which may be very painful :p)
Now here comes a possible solution, most times we tend to get satisfied with the results and stop continuing the good work, remember every milestone demands more hard work and to put in better words “getting success out of hard work is like traveling in a train, we may think that the station (milestone or achievement) came to us on its own but the fact is, we reached it with our hard work fueling the engine of glory.” So best way to handle success is to absorb all the positives of the work and the journey towards it and raise the bar still higher so that we start working again (course we can give a breathing space for rejoicing for sometime as we deserve it, shorter the better :)) towards the newly spotted star of glory and every time we continue the hard work we can assure ourselves of greater name, fame, glory and what not. So we must never quench the thirst to shine with the small successes but explore more to achieve more of them and also conquer the extraordinary ones….
Thank you for your patient reading and I do hope to bring more interesting stuff soon…. Take care…. :D
PS: I saw the function of Universal Hero Kamala Hassan being awarded the “Living Legend” and do you what he said on receiving it? He said “I should better start working harder so that I start deserving this award!”(My Apologies, if I couldn’t quote the exact words but still it’s inspiring to hear it from such an achiever :))
