2007 saw a lot of Remixes of old Tamil hits. Starting of the trend this year was Vasantha Mullai from Pokkiri. Then came remixes like Yeh Aatha in Malaikottai, Pon Magal in Azhagiya Tamil Magan, Engeyum Eppothum in Pollathavan, Andru Vanthathum in Kannamoochi Enadaa. The remake of 1980 classic Billa in 2007 had remix of two of the songs from the original - My name is Billa and Vethalaiya
